This is a 3-in-1 food experience: Madeira Wine lodge Tour, Artisan Chocolates Tasting and Lunch.

When in Madeira, tasting one of his most famous products is an absolute must in any itinerary.

Madeira wine is considered by many, the best fortified wine in the world, even William Shakespeare referred to Madeira wine as a precious essence, in his play “Henry IV”, and was accused of exchanging his soul for a chicken leg and a glass of wine, this fact indicate the early importance and reputation of Madeira wine.

You will be taken step-by-step trough the process of Madeira wine making by a qualified tour guide, moving from barrels to glass.

This wine lodge has maintained high quality for over than two centuries, producing excellent wine. It’s considered one of the leading names in Madeira and even counts Winston Churchill among his fans.

Love Chocolates but want to try something different? This experience combines artisan Chocolats made with madeiran flavors. Traditional fruits is an example, the passion fruit Chocolate was awarded in 2014 the best artisan chocolate in Portugal, or Madeira honeycake chocolate or poncha chocolate is a must.

We dive straight into the culinary heart of Madeiran cuisine to taste a 3 course meal lunch, from  sardines to fresh tuna corneto or perfectly cooked bull clown. Lunch will be pairing the perfect wine.

We finish our trip, as we should around the table, eating, drinking and chatting among friends having an amazing lunch cooked by the hands of the "Chef”.
